So one story that will be in the game is a short story I cooked up a long time ago and I thought hey why not talk about it. So let me introduce to you
The Cesare.
Ok quick history lesson for you, Zombies!!! we all know about them we all think BRAINS!!!! when the word Zombie is mentioned, but did you know Zombies wasn’t like that originally. I know right, originally they were linked to Voodoo who were corpses brought from the dead by voodoo priest to serve them.
It wasn’t until George Romero saw a certain film called Last Man on Earth the first adaption of a book called I am Legend, my favourite novel by the way. Well it was a novel that made Vampires less supernatural more scientific. Anyway when the movie was made the vampires had the characteristics
of a zombie, except that they could talk and had the weaknesses of vampires, well George saw this and thought hey lets make a movie, this gave birth to the film Night of the Living Dead where we saw what we know as zombies today first revealed.
So I watched both Night of the Living Dead and The Last Man on Earth in one night, then one film I discovered had been sort of remade in such a cool way as I was listening to the song Forsaken, the Vampire Lestat version. The film was The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, a 100 year old film that was made in such a weird style people have been replicating it like Tim Burton, One director managed to get a clean print of the film and he decided to remake it with the sets projected on a green screen, they then got modern actors and used music and sound to make a movie for the modern age.
Anyway there’s a character in the film called Cesare who is sort of the bad guy, he doesn’t have super powers or anything like that, this is where I took what George did with Last Man on Earth and Voodoo Zombies, so I wrote a short story called The Cesare, which you will be able to read the full story in Z-FG game, a little hint to the future, all I will say about them is this there’s only 2 and when they appear, there’s no running there’s no hiding, you’re going their way to meet someone they know.
Who knows they might be right behind you… 😉 but they are only part of a bigger picture we like to call in the twilig…. sorry different tale, a bigger picture in the Agarthian Universe.
