Soooo…. we just had the Xbox showcase and the PC Gaming Showcase… overall
pretty bad theres only a few games I’m looking forward to, Scorn, Deceive Inc, System Shock, Starfield(Well just barely) and of course GLOOMWOOD which the trailer blew me away by how different the game is now compared to the demo we got a few years ago.
So one game I really thought was unique when I first saw it but quickly thought looked terrible when they showed more of it was Red Fall, now I had this idea and something I wanted to make since I found out Harker was cancelled. A proper victorian, hammer horror FPS.
Something I had wanted to do a little reference to in Z.FG to give a hint to something like how Mike Flanagan kept teasing Midnight Mass in some of his work. Which is what was going to happen in Z, you’ll find a cinema and the main movie would be HellCry and a poster would be shown which is now below.
So yes this would be the next game I would want to make but I guess you’re asking how would it play and what would the story be? Well, its simple you’re part of the HellCry Institute a private organisation that investigates Occult disturbances, you’ll be called to a town thats overun with Vampires and have to hunt down the Head Vampire.
The game would be like Doom and Resident Evil Village, I would like to add certain things like a full auto crossbow, dual welding weapons, steampunk gadgets/weapons and…. well lets keep that secret, I may need to go for a walk 😉
