Ok, so, I watch the streamer very popular youtuber and I’ve always wanted to do something similar with the Grayson twitch stream, so last night I had a burst of imagination and now I’m currently working out how a virtual set would look like and how to translate what images I have in my head to the screen.
So here is the base of what I’ve done so far and even tho its the base of it, I’m still not happy and already feel like I want to scrap this and redo the model.
But I bet you ask, what do I have in mind? Well we will be having different screens for when I’m starting the stream, when I’m away from the keyboard and also when its just me talking to the camera.
The style I have in mind is like a cross between the 90s gotham we saw from Burton and Schumacher but with a mix of the Matrix and what HL2 would have looked like, so that means rain and thunder.
So hopefully this will have some progress at the end of the week, one thing I will need to work out is how to have multiple cameras, projecting their image as textures so on one of the screens we will see a cctv system looking through different areas of the map, for Unity it very simple but this is just using Blender and rendering the results as both video and images.
